Suggestions?

While the ride is still fresh in our minds, I welcome any suggestions that you may have for the Philly Dirty Dozen. This year, the course was changed significantly and we added a support car. I got good feedback on both of these things. For next year, I believe that the course will remain relatively similar. The only climb I have doubts about is #1 (Righer's Ferry/Laurel Hill Cemetary). I would also like to start the ride a little earlier (~8:30) so that we will hopefully have a few more finishers.

I thought you, Colin did a great job organizing the event. And Kudos to the staff that helped you out and boy could they ride.

That Andrea, who was playing domestique (keeping an eye for stragglers - not me of course :-) and then hammering ahead to whistle the start of the next climb) was incredible.

Positives:
1: Your car playing support role for 80 riders. That hatchback was loaded (with water, cola, candy) and served as a guide through much of the course.

2 PA Drivers were especially courteous. I think most were marveled with the peloton-like group as it weaved-by not even upset that they sometimes waited/lost a light.
-I know the group/peloton got a Bridal party on the way to their wedding all worked-up - fumbling for cameras as we rode past their home after the La Collina climb.

3 The knowledge and experience of the collective group made the ride safer for everyone.

4 Weather was cooperative and IMO unseasonably warm, if but a tad windy.(though some friends thought it a bit too cool) Next year I want you to arrange for it to be just a little warmer and less wind.

5 I liked the course - Challenging but doable for the modestly advanced rider - Also took us thru lots of fall foliage.

CYM for suggestions

If anyone who completed the ride has Garmin data w/course distance and elevation, post it here or email it.
Ditto for images/video.
